Water

Water envelopes me
It fills my soft tissues
with the water breath
and floods into the trees
on the edges of waterways
We are full to overflowing
Rehydrated

Fast and shining white
it races down sheer rock banks
on the roadside
Collects in darkest clouds
and drops from the sky
First with a light tenderness
Then gathering speed and fullness

Fresh and refreshing
it hangs in the air after the rain
Its scent intoxicating
The leafy trees swell with their new greenness
While birds gather to sing
their praises to this gift of life
Radha

  1. Wonderful! This piece flows like water in springtime! And the intoxicating scent is like no other, so refreshes me. Encourages me to go do some breath exercises with water!!
